Everyone knows it's always a party with The Max.
But if you add the Balloon Pirate...
It's a celebration!
Max requested "a dog stuck in a tree" balloon. When we encountered the Balloon Pirate again the next day at a birthday party, Max asked for "a cat stuck in a tree". The pirate peered a little closer at him and pondered the probability of two different children making such strange requests in two consecutive days. Nope, that's just the Max livening up the affair.
We hosted our annual summer barbecue for our Sunday School class. Apparently our class has taken the directive to "be fruitful and multiply" quite seriously. We had almost 80 people with lots and lots of little ones!
The summer soiree season ended with a party at a neighbor's lake house. Guess who wants a slide on the dock of our lake house now?
Party on!
