All of our Easter egg hunts may have been rained out this year, but we found plenty of ways to mark the season.
Giving to Others:
Sarah helped me collect and deliver Easter baskets to my agency from the United Way Young Philanthropist Group. Her car seat was completely ensconced by baskets and wrapping, which she believed entitled her to select her favorite one to take home.
Making Messes:
Coloring Easter Eggs
Mailbox Surprises:
Peter Rabbit goodies and books from Aunt Nancy!
Maintaining holiday traditions (of illness):
Thanksgiving - ER with Max,
Christmas - Bronchitis with Sarah
Valentine's Day - Stomach bug for the family
St. Patrick's Day - Stomach bug for Sarah
Easter - Ear infection for Max and Fever for Sarah
A cold rainy (and sickly) start slowed the kids momentarily, but they recovered their dormant egg-hunting skills to undertake a massive inside hunt!
