The Magic Kingdom

All Aboard!
Ready for the ferry to take us to the
Most Magical Place on Earth!

The Magic Kingdom

We arrived before the park opened to watch the characters ride in on the train.

Let the Memories Begin!

Personal welcome from Mickey and Minnie!

The difference between a Mommy and a little boy: when I saw the cranes around Cinderella's castle, I immediately thought about how they would disrupt the pictures; when Max saw the cranes he thought it made the castle even more special!

A spin on Dumbo for our first ride!

The Max is a crazy driver - we'll stick to flying elephants instead of cars for a while.

Winnie the Pooh, Winnie the Pooh!

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh required many rides before we were allowed to move on. However, it was smart to have multiple adventures early before the line became prohibitive. We were not the only fans!

Off to Neverland!

Chomp!

He can fly, he can fly, he can fly!

Everyone hum along!

The Royal Carousel

The back of the castle really provides a better view of the crane.

Tea Cups

Get ready to spin!

Lunch with Winnie the Pooh and Friends at the Crystal Palace provided a much needed rest, complete with air-conditioning, and the opportunity to celebrate Friendship Day!

Happy Friendship Day, Piglet!

The real Pooh is only slightly bigger than Beckers' stuffed Pooh and just as cuddly!

Tigger could tell Jason was missing the kitties, so he gave Daddy a big nuzzle!

Max found Tigget's antics hysterical!

Hmm...where's a good place to sign an autograph?

Eeyore found his tail!

Max proudly displayed his shirt (without prompting) for each picture. He was mesmerized by how all the cast members at the park called him by name. Obviously Mickey told everyone he was coming!

Our Disney Crew:
Auntie Beckers, Mommy, Max, Daddy, and Nana

After an exciting (and hot), stimulating (and hot), and fun (and hot) morning, everyone was ready for a rest and dip in the pool.

The rides continued after our intermission.
Watch out for the camel - it spits!

Ready for a cruise through the jungle!

Splash Mountain will have to wait for another day; the line was too daunting for a tired boy.

Disney by Night

How to cap off our day of magic: Fireworks? Parade? Bed? Nope, the Max was only interested in the monorail! He had patiently waited all day through many sightings to embark on this classic Disney experience. "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor manténganse alejado de las puertas."

The Magic Kingdom lives up to the name!

I just wany to go on reoord to confirm that it was hot and that is why I look like that with Winnie the Pooh. Yikes. When I visit The Richards next week, I hope to pose for a blog worthy photo to provide proof to the millions of readers here that I am not such a dowdy thing in a Mickey Mouse shirt.

You are hilarious! You always look gorgeous in pictures - even in FL humidity! By the way, I emailed those pics to you and heard no restrictions on placing it on the blog!
