Bibliophile

Max is a true connoisseur of books. Whenever we read a story, Max grabs the book to look at the cover before giving it a nod of approval. He loves to turn the pages, and especially adores lift-the-flap books. He gets so excited about reading that he pulls 37 books off his bookshelf at a time. Max then thrusts his chosen book at us and makes his "read it now" noise. After we read the story, this process is repeated. Over and over and over. Usually with the exact same book.

To assist other babies in choosing appropriate books, Max has compiled a list of his favorites:

"Brown Bear, Brown Bear" by Eric Carle and Bill Martin

"F is for Farm" by Roger Priddy

"Big Red Barn" by Margaret Wise Brown

"The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle

Where is Baby's Birthday Cake?"by Karen Katz
(see also: Where is Baby's....Easter Eggs, Pumpkin, Dreidel, etc)

"Who Ate All the Lettuce?" by Gill Munton

"But Not the Hippopotamus" by Sandra Boyton

"Tails" by Matthew Van Fleet

Max,
F is for Farm, but I am sure your parents will tell you that it is also for FURMAN. Great choice on "The Very Hungry Caterpillar".
