Happy Day of Birth, Sarah!

8:59 am : exactly one year ago that we saw this sweet face!

Did someone mention there would be cake?
By the day of her actual birthday, Sarah had already experienced the wonder of cake several times. The first occasion was accomplished by stealth: birthday cupcakes for Papa Mike were cooling on the counter when Sarah reached out from Mommy's hip and grabbed a handful for herself! She immediately stuffed it in her mouth, then proceeded to swipe more with the opposite hand before she could be whisked away!
The next cake was intended for her, even if it was a few days early. Mommy's extended family celebrated Sarah's birth along with Easter.
We quickly realized this baby needed to be naked to properly enjoy her treats!
Even though it was her third tasting of sugary goodness, Sarah was no less enthusaistic on her actual birthday!
This baby is looking forward to even more cake at her party!
