The competition to chaperone a field trip at Max's school is more fierce than the competition to get into Harvard. My persistence was finally rewarded for the final field trip!

Who says kids are so different today?
Hollywild is a local animal park and petting zoo. The "academic" justification for the field trip had something to do with learning about feeding and habitats. The kids seemed more excited about the opportunity to go WILD!
