Max the Budding Scientist develops logical thinking....
First, he carefully gathers supplies for his experiment.
Then he fills the bucket using the hose from the sprinkler.
He proudly displays the full bucket of water he will use to pour in the top of the contraption in order to make the wheels turn.
But after careful consideration, Max realizes that putting the hose directly into the contraption will allow the wheel to be turned continuously without further effort from himself.
Euereka!
(And yes, my son is playing in the sprinkler in his diaper. Scientific discoveries cannot be postponed for lack of proper attire!)
