Sarah's Boudoir

Pardon the delay in posting, but after many requests...

Welcome to Sarah's Nursery!

Shelves with assorted special keepsakes such as: the Pinkalicious guest book from baby shower; cross stitched bib from Mimi; silver rattle; Mommy's baby shoes; Sarah's coming home outfit; the Hop on Pop book that announced her arrival to Daddy!

Max's nursery at our old house featured a tree mural (complete with kitties) and it was one of the hardest things to leave behind. The same artist was able to create a tea party mural with a delicate tree for our little girl. And, of course, it had to include the most important family members, Frank and Bean! Note that Frank is trying to get onto the table...very true to life.

Soon after hearing about the mural, Auntie Sally sent a sweet rocking chair to match the tea party decor!

Sarah's poor ransacked bookshelf...Max took all the books to his room and will bring them to her room in order to read with Sarah before returning them to his bookshelf.

We continue to add personal touches to her room now that Sarah has arrived, despite the fact that she spends very little time in there at this point! We are still in search of a rug after three failed attempts - one was backordered and two were discontinued. Perhaps we will have succeeded in finding one by the time she is ready to crawl and play on the floor in there! Until then we'll have to settle for lots of snuggles in the chair! Sarah, I hope you love your nursery as much as we do!
