We spent weeks trying to tempt Sarah into walking. She could stand unassisted. She could cruise rapidly around the room, barely skimming her fingers along the furniture and walls. She could take tentative steps between objects. But she stubbornly refused to walk, despite being offered her favorite things: food, the kitties, Max. What finally lured her?
The object of Sarah's affection - A silly monkey mask!
She walked halfway across the room (steady and solid) to grab Mommy in the monkey mask and collapsed into giggles and hugs! She kindly repeated her performance numerous times once Daddy arrived home from work.
