Santa Claus TWO times in TWO days!
Our friends hosted Doughnuts with Santa to kick off the holiday season!
No one can ever be sure how a two year old will react to a large stranger with a beard in a red suit, but we expected Sarah to be hesitant when we first arrived. One benefit of having a big brother is that she can follow his lead; Max hopped in Santa's lap and started chattering, so Sarah did also!
Sarah requested a baby doll and a big girl bed for Christmas.
Max wants a Lego remote control train set.
(He refused to tell Mommy and Daddy, only Santa can know!)
Testing the doughnuts for quality control
With one successful visit down, we thought the next visit at the annual United Way brunch would be just as smooth. However, the downside of seeing Santa twice in two days is that the differences in appearance are much more obvious! Max immediately commented on the changes in his suit. And his beard. Fortunately, Santa "remembered" the kids, but Sarah is no fool. She was definitely suspicious. Or perhaps just afraid she would get lost in his giant beard!
Nothing says Christmastime like blue icing.
Thanks to the Poinsett Hotel catering, we were discovering blue bits for days afterwards.
Daddy and Mini-Daddy
Matching bow ties
AND bow tie belts!
Would we find Santa one more time this season for the Santa Trifecta? Stay tuned...
